Another weekend...another party

My pledge sis and others never fail to tell me I live the life of a character out of the OC, and I just roll my eyes, but I've started to feel like I am going/having as many parties as they did on the show. First it was the black tie CF gala. Two weeks later it was the Southbay Community Services event at the roof top club of the Ivy hotel. and finally two weeks later it is my dad's retirement party at my house..."Not your typical backyard bbq." So far there have been 55 people RSVP for Saturday and my mom is taking Friday off to set up. We hired a bartender and are having it catered by a Hawaiian food restaurant. I guess the one similarity b/t fact and fiction is that now that we are all adults we go to these events together, which in turn means that I have to get a new outfit b/c I can't wear the same dress from last year (please slap me. I can't believe I said that). The truth is however, after 6 weeks of these things I'm kind of glad my weekends are going to calm down. Life in the OC must have been really hard!!!
